Description
A Gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned:  Gules, a winged projectile Or, in chief two shell bursts Argent.  Attached below the shield a Gold triparted scroll inscribed DUTY WELL DONE in Black.

Symbolism
The red shield is representative of Artillery.  The projectile, shell and wings indicate missions of previously designated organizations.

Background
The distinctive unit insignia was approved effective 1 September 1995.
